New Attraction Vehicle at WDW...

For those of us who collect the miniature attraction vehicle series, a new one was released around mid January. It's the Pirates of the Caribbean featuring Goofy in the front seat. Beside him is a pirate Captain with a mug of ale! A tiny problem I have, is that they are using the same "boat mold" for this, the Rio del Tiempo, Maelstrom and Small World. Less authentic, but I appreciate the production economy.

But the figures of Goofy and the Pirate are excellent! Puts me in the mood to sing YoHo, YoHo, with a beer in my hand!

The old AK die cast series is now available iat WDW n the "Theme Park Collection" packaging, but they really are not attraction replicas...

Do they have a Doom Buggy as part of this series?

Yes, the Doom Buggy was released late last fall. It has Goofy, Mickey and a grimly grinning ghost in between them. The front of the vehicle lowers just like the real thing, and it has number "13" on the back. The eyes, smile and fingernails of the ghost glow in the dark. One of the best in the series!
