I totally agree! I've been asked for my AP once out of probably 6 resort stays booked at the Passholder rate. I've never understood this. Also, I never respond to the threads asking whether people were asked to produce an AP at check-in. So many people try to beat the system.Susiesnowflake said:While these boards have made it quite evident that there are a lot of people cheating Disney, especially in regards to securing AP discounts without actually having APs, Disney has enabled this by not requiring verification of AP at check-in.

I do tend to agree with the OP~
IMO Disney is losing money on me b/c I am averaging about 15 days per year in the parks PLUS saving hundreds of dollars on their Deluxe accomodations - all with my $400+ dollar investment in an Annual Pass

I'm buying my daughter an Annual Pass this summer and I think I figured that an AP for her was the same price as a MYW 7-day ticket w/ park-hopping option. It doesn't make sense! Maybe they're going to phase out APs altogether
