New AP rates coming in August?

Okay, so I just got off the phone with the AP office regarding a different issue. I asked if or when there was going to be an AP rate for the Fall and he said that around the middle of August it will be coming out for travel at the end of August through December. Just thought I would pass this along. I hope it's true!

When I first saw your post I only skimmed, and thought you were talking about them raising the rates to buy an AP. I thought "no, they can't raise the rates before we renew!" but now I see skimming was wrong.

I hope they come out earlier than mid-August. I was hoping for sometime this month. Oh well - I just hope they are GOOD rates!
I did get the mailer with PIN code and think I will book my rooms with that rate and then switch when/if a better AP rate comes out.

I spoke with the head of guest communications this morning and was told that the pins were sent out to Annual pass e-newsletter subscribers and that there would be an AP rate coming out in mid August for the Fal (She also said the rate would be BETTER then the pin rate)

that can't be the criteria--I am an annual pass e-newsletter subscriber and was not on the line for the pin code (I called and asked too)

oh cool and the pin rate went to others not just the ap's becouse they had ppl getting them who didnt have aps

DH got the pin. He isn't signed up for anything. We have stayed on-site for the past 2 years under his name though.

its not cheryl...there is no rhyme or reason as to who got it and who didnt...I think the person that spoke with Lilibet just blew smoke up her you know what...I dont even think the cms that take the reservations even know the criteria because otherwise there wouldnt have been 50 different answers to the same question...the one thing I heard that seems to be the general consensus is that there will be a fall AP rate and it will be out in Aug. sometime but better than the pin???? Im not holding my breath on that one...I can see possibly the same but not better with the exception of GC...they might lower it down to $189 standard and $209 premium...but I guess we will see

Does anyone know when they usually put out the AP rates for Spring? We are looking at going in the first week of April (would you think Dec?)
