new AP 13th month perk

Anyone know what the cost would be to upgrade a 5day PH+ water park options to a gold AP as a DVC owner?
Also the cost for same 5 dayPH/ water park ticket for a non DVC owner or does the non=owner have to but a diff AP.

I purchased my AP on 9/29 and then activated on 9/30. Went to MNSSHP on Thurs, and then Epcot on Friday. Had I known that if I had waited till Monday to Activate my AP that I would have gotten an extra month I certainly would have waited. In my case I was planning to come back in September of 2017 for food and wine just before my pass expired. If I get an extra month, then I don't have to go as early. I tried to call on Sat 10/8 and there was a 2 hour wait. lol! So I'll wait a few days after the Hurricane madness dies down, and ask them to honor the promo for me. I would hope that there is some latitude for those of us that missed this promo by mere hours. If I missed it by weeks I wouldn't even be posing the question. I'll let you know what they say.

I'm in the same boat. Let me know what you find out!

I've tried to call a couple of times today, with a wait over 60 min. I can wait till another day.

A non-DVC owner is not eligible for the Gold AP. They can choose between the Platinum Plus AP and the Platinum AP.

My son was just accepted to the Disney College Program. We already had a trip over the Christmas holiday planned and I had purchased 5 day park hopper tickets. Now I think we will be making some extra trips to see him and am wondering if it is possible to upgrade the tickets to an annual pass?

I called Disney this morning, and got a message that there is over a 60 min wait. After 5 min the automated system suggested that I e-mail ticket.inquiries@disneyworld.com. I have sent them an e-mail and got the following automated response.

Thank you for contacting Walt Disney World Ticketing.

This automated response confirms we have received your message. You may expect to hear from our Guest Services team within seven to ten business days. However, your message may require additional input and review by other Walt Disney World Departments, and this may delay a response. Please be assured, you will receive a reply to your inquiry.

I will give it a few days and see if I get a response. I'll keep checking the Phone to see if the wait every gets any shorter.

I purchased the 13 month pass on the weekend. It will work out good for us as it allows us to do an Aug trip in both 2017 and 2018.

Just got off the Phone with Guest Services, and advised them of my situation and they were more than happy to change my Expiration date by 30 days. My new exp date is 10/29/2017. This is exactly why I love Disney!!!!. I did not expect them to make this change I called and politely asked for them to make the change and they did. Please make sure that if you hold for Guest Services that you have your AP number handy so that they can access your account.

Good luck to all of you that missed this promotion by only a few days.
