New and trip is planned for december advice??

hi,
I am new to all of this! but i am looking for some information on birthdays in disney and also first trip! its all booked for december for Christmas time please send as much information as possible!!!!

Welcome to DIS!!! As far as birthdays go, you can order a birthday cake and have it brought to your table at a table service restaurant. You will also get a free birthday button. I know you can get them at the parks, but I'm not sure if you can get them at the resorts. Any way while wearing the button you will get Happy birtday Wishes from the CM's on some occasions there might be some extra pixi dust involved......sometimes!!!

You can also get a first trip button, where you get a Birhday button......have fun!!!

Buttons are free.......from resorts and parks!
