New and not sure how this board works, help

Hi,

Okay.. so we are celebrating my husband's 1 year cancer free anniversary and my son's 7th birthday in Disney in Nov. I got the t shirts for my husband's day, but I need one for my son's birthday. A lot of people recommended I come to this board, but I am not sure how this board works. I saw that someone designed a shirt, but then what? Do I print it out and get it on a shirt?

I am clueless!

Look around especially at the stickies at the top of the board. They have great info. Basically, find a design you like, if you want it personalized ask the designer in their thread. Save the design to your computer. Print it on light or dark "transfer" or "iron on" paper on your color inkjet printer and iron it on your tshirt following the instruction on your package of transfers. Meant to add; Congrats on the 1 year cancer free for your DH. What a great thing. My husband was very sick a couple of years ago so I know what it is like to have a DH with a clean bill of health. Wonderful!

As for picking, just look down thru here, yes there are many many talented designers on here..you can find tee shirt, invitation designs for breakfast, dinner etc on here for a surprise for your son.. Keep asking as many questions as you have, we are all here to help you. I don't design but I have made shirts for each day we will be at Disney. One shirt for each park I am taking my granddaughter and my sister's grandson and they have no idea about the shirts...I also have made ressies for character dining, and when I put the shirts out I will also leave with the shirts an invitation for breakfast or dinner Welcome and enjoy this awesome board
