Victoria from East Tennessee!! Stumbled upon the boards once my loving Boyfriend and I decided we needed some sweet WDW action!! I have been going to WDW for many years, and it's been about 5 years since my last visit and I am MORE than anxious to kick it with the Mouse again! Taking my Boyfriend this time around and he has never been!! Plus, this is my first go at actually planning a trip myself! Ahhh!!!

Hi and welcome!

If you've been to WDW before, it's a whole lot easier to plan-- at least you have the general layout in your head, and can understand the times and distances.

When are you planning to go?

If you have some flexibility, take a look at the pricing calendars-- WHEN you go makes a huge difference in how much you pay. As teachers, we go in the summer, but I always wait until Value Season kicks in.

Now think in terms of the resort and the amenities you want-- that will determine the type of resort. The fact sheets and slide shows at www.allears.net are a huge help.

Then take a look at the dining plan, and determine whether the DDP is right for you. We love it, but the opinions seem pretty evenly split.

You will have a great time!

A few items for thought....
1. Think about what type of tour is best for you? Are you an early riser? Fast paced? Slower paced? How important are the live shows?

2. There is never enough time to do everything. What are the "must dos"? What are the new attractions you want to experience?

Personally, I really enjoy the DDP. Good luck! :thumbsup2

Take a deep breath and try to relax. You can do this!!
