New Alice in Wonderland Trailer!!

Wow, that looks awesome! I hope it won't be to scary for DD - she loves Alice! And she'll be 5 by then. Did it say 3D at the very end of the trailer?!

Thank you thank you thank you for posting! Can't wait to send the link to my sister - She's been dying to see the Cheshire Cat.

(Am I the only one who doesn't care if a movie is 3-D these days? Seems like they all are anymore. I feel old, lol.) I wonder if this was from comic-con...

Thank you so much!! I can't wait either. Alice has always been my favorite. How could it get any better? Oh yeah, Johnny Depp!!

Since this isn't related to the theme parks, I've moved this thread to the Rumors and News board. :)

Looks like pretty standard Tim Burton. Am I the only one who thinks it looks like leftover footage from Willy Wonka? I have a feeling it will end up being WAY too much for little kids who are used to the "other" Disney version.

But it'll clean up at the box office!

Looks great! I'm directing Alice at my high school next spring - great timing!

I don't think it looks like Willy Wonka recycled. If I didn't already know it was Johnny Depp I don't think I could have guessed by the trailer.

What I think may happen is like what happened when Tim Burton released the 2nd Batman movie. Parents complained that it scared their children because it was too dark. But I see that as the parents' fault for not being informed.

And, yes, it will clean up at the box office. Can't wait! :woohoo:

Honestly of all the fairytales...I can think of NO ONE better than Tim Burton doing this! Alice in Wonderland has always been a twisted little tale and Tim Burton will make it devinely twisted.
Add to it that...Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, PERFECT casting! Johnny Depp has that intangible foundation of static naughtiness.

Visually it is sublime, I can not wait to see this on the big screen! Thanks, for posting!!!

Looks great! Esp in 3D some kids would be way too overwhelmed. (There's always DVD at home in the future.) However. this movie looks like it will be a hit!
And quite often children's stories and fairy tales were grim. (Brothers Grimm as example. Ever read Cinderella? Care to cut off your heal to fit in a shoe? )

Awesome!!!:cool1: I personally love Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas and really hope that I can see this in theaters. Although I probably won't be able to, considering I'm the only one in my family who likes his films. ( My dad says he's going to check it out himself first, probably won't ever be seeing this film, though...):sad1:

Can't wait to see this in March. I agree with Luv 2 Roam - I took a Lit course in college in which we read & discussed fairy tales & they were very dark. I felt like I was reading horror stories. This movie looks great - IMAX should be
awesome.

This looks amazing. I am a huge Tim Burton/Johnny Depp Fan. I always love it when they work together. I am sooooo seeing this as soon as it hits theaters.
