New AG doll, Mia...

They revealed the '08 AG of the Year on Oprah today. She is a redhead with freckles named Mia. She lives in upstate NY and dreams of being a figure skater. DD is soooo excited. DD trains as a competitive skater so she really will relate to this one!

Ugh, I was so disappointed that I had to work today and couldn't watch Oprah with my DD today (but my DH did!). I wanted to see the new doll. We don't have TiVo or anything, so I've been scouring the internet, trying to catch a glimpse, but no luck..... All my DD could tell me was that she's a skater. DH was really no help at all. I'm just hoping they re-run that episode soon on a FRIDAY (my day off).....

We are heading to AG store in NY on Sunday and the girls were dissapointed they wont be able to get Mia..but im sure they wont have any trouble picking one out..lol

I missed it too. I wonder if it is on Utube anywhere.

DD has both Jess and Niki, but I think we are going to have to sit 2008 out.

Then again we haven't seen her yet.

She's cute. I think this is a decent match -- except she has red hair.

And of course a skating outfit.

ETA: Now that I think about it though, she may not be a good match. I remember the AG spokesperson saying she has freckles, but I couldn't see them on the tv. She may also have green eyes. So, never mind anything I just posted. LOL!!!
