New 2008 Refillable Mug Questions

I have a few questions about the refillable mugs.

1. Do these have dates on them?

2. What sizes are available? (I know typically they have the cup-holder size and the bigger, wider size)

3. Do each of the Disney-owned resorts (excluding CSR) have these mugs, or are there some who are still stocking the resort-specific ones?

4. How much are the mugs? Do they charge different prices for different sizes? (If they have them)

1) Unlike last years mugs which said 2007, the YOAMD mugs for this year do not say 2008 on them.

2) Since they are the same mugs as last year nothing has changed.

3) All the Resort counter service locations expect for CSR and the Contemporary because their temporary location does not sell the mugs, are selling the same YOAMD mugs.

4) The mugs cost $12.49 + tax.

When it comes to the YOAMD mugs they only have one size.

Here is a picture of the YOAMD mugs from Allearsnet.com and this was taken last year when their cost was $11.99, so these were the ones that said 2007 on them. However as I said before they are selling the same mugs again, without them saying 2008 on them.

Oh, I forgot to answer the above poster. The refills are free after you purchase the mug at your resort.

By implementing this resort wide standard mug; hasn't disney effectively made it even easier for folks to abuse the system? at least before you couldn't feasibly take a pop mug to the poly on another trip. now theres no way of telling where you got your mug or when(other than the year). 5 trips in one year? same mug and noone knows the difference. makes one wonder if disney is really concerned with the loss or not. i personally like the individual resort mugs.

Maybe with all the changes in DDp Disney is giving us a break with the mugs! I bought 5 last year for all the family, this year I am solo so will buy another but if there was 5 of us Hummm !!

The come 1 per person on the Deluxe Dining Plan. I don't drink soda, so I'm sure my dh will fill both of ours each time.

The YOAMD mugs still say they are good for the lenght of the stay, which were the same rules when they had the Resort logo mugs. So while you are right that it would be easy for guests to take them back on a future trip, I say it's just like the Resort logo mugs. When the Resort logo mugs were being sold the designs never changed, so if a guest was staying 2 or 3 times a year at the same Resort it would be easy for them to take those designs back again. With the YOAMD mugs it's the same thing, with the difference being you can use them at other Resorts since no one can tell where they were purchased at. So if someone wants to bring them back that is their choice.

We spent 3 nights at the Dolphin last July, & I don't recall seeing a refillable mug station.
I don't think they sell refillable mugs there at all.

CSR is still selling their Resort logo mug because the dinning locations are not owned by WDW. So yes you can still purchase their mug, it just won't the be YOAMD mug.
