Neverlanders! I want in!

there was a thread yesterday about this sort of "gangs" or social clubs at the park i believe it's only a disneyland's locals thing, there's also the "wonderlanders", "hitchikers" and many others,
i do have seen them in the park, and i really don't like it, i find it a little tacky.

Okay I'll say it - Why is it tacky ? Because you don't like it ? That is what I get from your response so please correct me if I am wrong.

There is nothing tacky about a group of individuals enjoying the same things everyone else does - just because they don't fit what you or anyone may consider the standard "family" or "group". I have seen many social groups enjoying Disneyland together ranging from Steampunk groups to Red Hat Ladies to the social groups and all have been equally awesome.

It makes me sad there are such stigmas surrounding this still.

We saw a group at the BBQ this Sunday. My hubby was so jealous, he want in too, lol.

I love the idea of a bunch of Disney addicts forming a club to enjoy the parks together but I gotta admit I find the biker look a bit tacky, I'm not sure why anyone would want to mimic a look associated with violent motorcycle clubs. Other than that I think it's awesome. Had they gone with less of a biker look I'd be lining up to join them.

I think the clubs are cool, I'm not a fan of the rockers, but otherwise it looks like a bunch of Disney addicts having a great time. To each their own.

your assumptions of what i meant are so wrong they irritate me.

As a frequent visitor to the parks I've seen some of these people around numerous times and although I appreciate their love for Disney and creating a social club for like minded friends I just don't have an interest in joining their club. Don't get me wrong I am not putting them down it's just not for me.
