I thinking about leaving my four year old at the neverland club so dh and I can have a night out. I am concerned about the security measures they have in place there. Do they make sure the kids cannot wander of or be taken out of there unless it is by the parent. I ask this because I read a post by someone who left there child there and when they came back they said the doors were open and the kids could of left.

The majority of the post I've read about the neverland club the parents and kids seemed to love the club. Does anyone know how secure the club is? Thanks

Being a mother of 3 small children I can fully understand your concern. When you arrive, my advice would be to take a walk down there at the time you would leave your child and see for yourself how things look. If you are not sure then by all means voice your concerns to whomever is in charge. You can also hire a sit in nanny that will watch your child in your room. My guess is, disney resorts do take extra precautions to make sure the children are well looked after. Well have a good time and Im sure everything will work out fine.:D

Just got back from disney - My twin 4 year old boys went to the club on 2 evenings. Once for 4 hours and once for 3 hours. they love their own club. Before I took them there in June i went to the club in the afternoon. Its is open 12 -4 for you to use with parental supervision. I asked about security the back door is locked and an alarm sounds if it does get opened. the kids are not allowed out in the reception area which you have to pass through to get out the front door. In June and in Sept I recognized 2 of the same people. also they serve dinner the the staff make sure the kids are assisted with getting dinner. since mine are younger I wanted to be sure they were helped and ate a decent dinner. It worked out great. the second night they went I used the time to get all of our stuff packed for the next days check out. it was expensive $8 per hour per child but for the few hours the kids had a great time and I got a few hours of time knowing they were having fun and secure.

We've used the club twice now with GREAT results. A few years ago my boys were4, 6, and 9. They loved it so much that when we went again last Feb. that was the first thing they asked to do.

WE also went and checked out the club ahead of time and found it to be great. The staff was wonderful with my kids.

We put the boys there so we could go to Epcot with our older girls and the baby. It worked out perfectly. Now the "baby" is 3 and wants to go there on our next trip with her brothers.

Thanks for responding to my question. I will go and check it out when I am there. It probably is a secure place but I just want to make sure. I have never left my four year old with anyone other then family so I am alittle nervous.
