Never used but expired tickets

When we came to WDW in 2013, my MIL and FIL took poorly and never actually ended up coming to the parks with us whilst we were there. They had 14 day ultimate tickets (we're from the UK) which I believe are only good for 2013. These tickets were linked to my MDE account but never used for entry/FP+.

Do you think disney will exchange them for replacement tickets? Probably not but worth asking as I believe they cost about $700.

Certainly worth asking. And if your reasons are explained, a very good chance of get current replacement.

You can definitely ask, but the US does not have 14 day tickets so I don't know what they would offer. You might want to look into how much you paid for the tickets to give you a baseline for their value. You can also ask on the UK planning board to see if anyone else has been in the same situation.
