Never Too Early! August Park Hours Watch

that late in August many schools have re-opened so it is more like Fall than Summer in terms of the crowds and in terms of the theme park hours and offerings...

While much can change as we await late August hours, I was wondering anyone's thoughts recommendations on parks to vist on which days.

We have 3 day PH+ passes (DS-8 and me). He wants to visit a waterpark with the plus. We will be in Orlando the following days:

Arrive late afternoon, Wednesday August 25
Thur, 8/26
Fri 8/27
Sat 8/28
Sun 8/29
Mon 8/30 depart for home.

My initial thought was:

Thur AK(AM)/MGM (PM)
FRI MK
SAT Waterpark in the morning/hotel PM
SUN EPCOT

I know waterparks are real crowded on the weekends, any thoughts/suggestions?

THANKS!

You might want to switch your water park day to Thursday and do AK on Saturday instead.

Well, today is the 20th of May so our turn for park hours for our travel dates is getting closer! I've been making PS all week. Got Illuminations Cruise and made PS for Chef Mickey for breakfast, 'Ohana for dinner, Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch, Cape May Cafe for breakfast and Hollywood & Vine for the Fantasmic! dinner pkg. I'm hoping theme park hours come out in about a week and a half. Post here if you hear anything!:D

I can't believe how fast the time is going by now that our vacation is approaching. Come on hours!

Well I'm happy to see the E ride night schedule for August, but I still feel a little cheated! I thought that they usually release hours and E ride nights at the same time!?
:confused3

Come on Hours!!!!!

Where did you see the E-Rides for August?

On both Deb Wills site (wdwig.com) and this one(wdwinfo.com) it has enights scheduled every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from May 31 until August 13th. I am so excited that I will be there for the 13th. I was fortunate to go to one in 2001 and really enjoyed. Looking forward to taking my niece and nephew with the updated list. Lets go hours!!

Yes, I got the E Ride schedule from Deb Wills site, it will follow the Monday-Wednesday-Friday schedule for the first couple weeks of August. We're so excited, we'll be there for 3 of them!! The rides open have also been modified (wdwig.com) - they are now including Peter Pan! Wahoo!!!
Come on HOURS!!!!:jester:

Oh man! Our first day at WDW will be 8/14. Hope they extend E-ride night one more week.

THey did last year!! The final one, I think at least, was Friday the 22nd. We lucked out since that was our last night there. Thinking that maybe we hit the one on the 13th since that's our arrival day. Dd will love it!!

I've been trying to change my ressies to the 14th-21st but maybe I should keep my 7-14th with the 3 eride nights. But you know they're going to change things around. I would not be surprised if they add some eride nights for that 3rd week.

I really liked the earlier eride nights that 3rd week last summer cause our kids are young and we'd probably have to take our son who will be 2.5 at that time with us cause of his medical issues.

I can deal with the earlier closing times as long as they put in a couple of E-ride nights during our stay. Waiting, waiting, waiting......
