Never to early-How many DVC'ers for MVMCP?

This will be our first MVMCP. Why LTT for dinner? Is there something special that goes on there for dinner? And you can already make a PS?

Yikes, what else do I need to know?

We are planning to go on November 29, but will not buy our tickets until the day before or day of (with AP discount :) )when we know what the weather will be like. :umbrella:

This worked last year with no problem on Thursday, December 16. Friday's are the tough ticket and should be purchased in advance.

The way it came out yesterday, you don't have to wait until the "day of" to get the AP discount. The discount is off the "day of" price but it can be purchased in advance for selected dates.

IMHO, everyone jumps on the LTT bandwagon just because you can book it now if you are going to a party (and new this year, you can book Tony's now!!!) but you can also book Crystal Palace and the Castle at 90 days.

We'll be at the November 29 MVMCP with PS at LTT at 5:35p...I wanted Crystal Palce this year but my sis is coming and wants to try LTT.

Thank you!! Sounds like if I wait until the 90 day mark, I won't get a seat. I'll make that call tomorrow. Do I make the PS at the same time I order the tix?

Yes, you do! The CM can handle both the ticket purchase and the PS for either LTT or Tony's.

Hi everyone,
I just ordered my Mvmcp tickets for the 20th of December, I am prepared to be very festive during the crowds that night and just try to enjoy our first Christmas at our DVC!

thanks,

We are staying at BWV Dec 17 - 23. Just bought the MVMCP tics for the 18th and have reservations at Tony's for 6:00. I was told by the CM that was the earliest time since Tony's doesn't open until 6:00. This is our favorite time of the year to visit Disney!

DW and I, along with 3 of the 6 kids will be at SSR DEC 2nd-11th. We've already packed our longjohns (since it will be "snowing on main street").

hmmm I wonder if this means that you wont get the lunch menu at Tony's this next time around for those late in the day ressies. Because they close the park early, when we ate at Tony's before the Halloween party last year, it was still the lunch menu at 5 pm which was a nice surprise price wise.

Right now we have a trip planned for Dec 3 through 10. Unfortunately, we may have to cancel, won't know that until Sept. What are the chances of tickets still being available if we wait until Sept or even when we get down there to purchase?

We'll be going to the Dec. 11th party. 6 adults, staying at VWL, and our friends have never been to WDW.

Does anyone know if we book PS for LTT do we pay when we book? Is it like the CP package? Is Tony's a buffet?

I think as long as you stick with one of the midweek dates and avoid weekends you should not have a problem. Last year my SIL purchased her tickets 2 weeks before our trip and just picked them up at the ticket window.

We will be attending the Dec. 6th party. We do not care for either Tony's or LTT so we will make a PS at the 90 day mark.

We plan to get tickets for the 8th. Last time we did the party (2003) we did a PS at Ohana and then took the monorail into MK for the party. It literally took minutes to walk out of Ohana and be at the MK gates with our party tickets. I suppose it would work with any restaurant on the monorail line! :)

kaseyC, thanks for the heads up. I was thinking about going midweek, I appreciate it.

on Nov 29th - PS @LTT 6:40pm. Debating on when to purchase tickets. Waiting to purchase AP - might do it sooner than later.

We'll be there on the 29'th too :cool1: You don't have to wait to get your AP in order to get the discount though, as long as you show one when you pick up your tickets they will give you the discount now :)

We're going too- (DH and DD) 1st time to WDW and of course to the party!! :cool1:

Based upon the excellent posts here, I got right on purchasing my tickets and made the LTT reservation for 5:25, as well. Not to panic anyone, but I was told that there were only two tables left, for 5:25 I guess??? I got a confirmation number but did not need to pay when I made the PS. Good Luck!!!

Thanks to Athena for an excellent thread!! :wave2:
