Never Thought We Could Do It

Just booked a 1 BR at SSR for 12/20 to 12/26 -- WOOT! DH unexpectedly got some time off before he starts a worldwide road trip in Jan (can anyone say Malaysia?). We have been remodeling our house since July and I don't have the energy to decorate - me, who loves Christmas. So with some pixie dust I found a cheap flight out of BWI and a 1BR.

I know it will be crowded but with our APs we'll choose our times and take advantage of resort amenities. I'm thinking we'll ship clothes down for our OL and just do carry on for iDevices and meds.

I love our DVC and can't wait to be home. I had to share here cause you know how I feel.

Postscript: So far I have been able to make ADRs at Turf Club for the night we arrive, Rose and Crown for Sat night with a chance to see the fireworks, Sanaa for Christmas Eve (yum), and our family favorite Raglan Road on Christmas. Thank you pixie dust!

That's awesome! We snagged a last minute trip over Xmas week too, but we are at AKV. There is nothing like the House of Mouse over the holidays!

We had 2 rooms at POR booked since we didn't want to spend the points, but well, decided on a 2 BD at SSR last Thursday and blew all the points! I was thrilled it was open for the week of Christmas!

So excited! We too have APs and are prepared for the crowds!
