Never stayed on property. What is check in like at ASMU

We are flying in around 9 am on SAt morning Dec 8. I figure with Magical Express we will get there sometime between 11-12. We will want to hit the parks ASAP. What is the earliest you can get in your room. Am I right that are luggage won't come until later. So anything needed for the parks we must have in our carry on? Can you check in and just go to your room when we return. The park is open until 1 am I don't want to have to be messing around checkin in that late. Do they bring your luggage to your room when it is ready? Thanks. First time on Property so not really sure how it works.

Hi,

If your flight lands at 9 there is a good chance you will be at ASMU before 11.

The earliest you can get to your room depends on when it is ready. If you are lucky the room will be ready when you check in...but don't count on it. Your room will be ready by check-in time (4M). Meanwhile, your bags will be delivered to your room while you are out.

Yes, anything you need for the parks should be in your carry-on.

No matter when you arrive at ASMU, you will be able to go through the check-in process, get your keys, tickets, dining plan credits, whatever you have as part of your reservation, and head out for the parks.

As Bob said, however, you might not be able to get into your room just then. If there is no room ready for you when you get to ASMU, they will give you a phone number to call later in the day to find out what room number you will have, then when you get back to ASMU that night you can go directly to your room. By then your luggage should have arrived.

It's very easy. Check in at the hotel, and they'll give you everything you need, door key and park passes. You won't have to worry about your luggage at all.

Anything you want to take into the park, you should have with you.

We just stayed at all star Movies. We landed at noon and we took Magical Express and we were at the resort by 1:30. We checked in and got our hopper passes and our rooms were ready. We checked out our room then headed to the pool for awhile. We packed our suits in our carryons. Worked out well. Enjoy your trip. We wish we were still there!!!
