I made a room only reservation about a week ago and never received and email or snail mail confirmation. I wouldnt be too concerned, expect I cant get my reservation to pull up online either. I wrote down the conf # when I made the ressiem, but would feel better if I had some "official" paperwork. Should I be concerned?

Absolutely, yes!

It would be horrible to find out at the last minute that they screwed up somewhere and your trip is cancled! Plus, you'll feel so relieved.. knowing that you're in the clear!

First a few questions: did you book online or over the phone? Second, if you did book over the phone, have you created an internet account with a login name and password? Third, have you tried doing a "search" on the website by entering your reservation number and telephone number?

If you've done all of this and still don't see it; try calling CRO and just double checking the info they have in the system cuz that's what counts.

I understand how you feel; the last payment I made doesn't show up when I login(although I made the payment from the website:confused3. I've called(three times) and they do have the payment credited to my account so I'm ok. Sort of..

I did the same thing a few days ago. I booked for 2008 over the phone and wrote down my confirmation number, but I didn't get the e-mail and couldn't pull up my reservation online. I called the next day, and they had an old phone number on my account. (Which is why I couldn't find the reservation online - I was living in the wrong house! :rotfl2: ) The CM the second time resent the confirmation e-mail, and I got it that time. I was able to pull up my reservation with my old phone number, but they are supposed to be changing it in their system.

I ordered PP Party tickets about 3 weeks ago and kept looking for them in the mail. My Mom received them in a mailbox at a house she moved from a month ago (lucky me they had not sold the house yet). I called CRO to confirm my other arrangements for my upcoming August trip and find out why they sent the tickets to an address that I have never even lived at. In December we had gone to WDW and my mom had gone on her own reservation and now the WDW computers for some reason default to her address and not mine. And to top it off my upcoming reservation is in her name (not mine as it should be) and they can't correct it. I was told to check in using her name and just explain it to the hotel as a computer glitch. It does show my name as one of the guests coming in, but not the one holding the reservation. And this is all after getting a confirmation in the mail for a reservation in my name!! After an hour and ten minutes this is the conclusion they came to on the phone with me. I just feel lucky that their home had not been sold yet or who knows how I would have gotten the tickets replaced. I'm sure that would have been lots of fun to prove.:confused3

I called and they corrected my email in the system (I have no idea where they got the email the CM quoted, because I get emails from them all the time at my corrrect email)...but I digress, I still havent received a confirmation. Grrr

I tried pulling up the reservation with my old phone number as well, but no luck =(

I wouldnt mind calling so much, but once I get through the prompts and hold time, I have wasted 20 mins or so as of late.

I booked over the phone. I did create an account online and am able to log in, but where it hangs up is when I have to put my confirm # and phone number....I confirmed both of these #s with the CM today, but the website says that my information is invalid. :confused3

If you called from a different number than your home # try putting it in, they do have caller id and they may have put that # in.

I don't understand, how is Disney getting old phone numbers and addresses for people? I've seen this often on the boards and it makes me wonder who else Disney is "in bed with" if they are pulling up old contact info. Unless of course, that old info was given to them years ago for previous vacations.

I made one about a week ago too and haven't received a conf. in the mail yet. They also double charged me for the first night's deposit! :headache:

I also made a room-only reservation this week. They did charge my credit card. I didn't expect an email confirmation (although the CM did confirm my email address); she said that the snail-mail confirmation would take 7-14 days to arrive.

Go ahead and call if you're nervous about it, but I'd give it a few more days before I started to worry. :)
