Never realized how close AKL is to 192

Our last trip to WDW we stayed at AKL. While walking to the bus one day I looked over to my right. I was suprised to see a Days Inn sign and a billboard poking out above the trees.

That same night we decided to eat somewhere off property. We exited the AKL and turned right onto 192. A few hundred feet later we were on 192.

If we knew we were that close to regular society we probably would have eaten off site more often. It was just so close!

When you get out to 192, turn left and there's an International House of Pancakes right there! I was surprised too at how close it was. More reasons to love AKL.
