Never put crackers in the bathroom trash

Our two perfectly behaved dogs got in serious trouble today.
We fed them, put them out to do thier thing, and then brought them in and said goodbye on our way out the door to the Philharmonic. Oh it was a great concert, and we had a nice lunch afterwards, and made a quick stop at the library. All total we were gone about three hours, just about the right length to come home and let the pooches out.

OMG!
We came home to the bathroom trash ripped up all over the floor!
(you know there are ugly things in that trash can!)
One of my kids didnt eat some crackers from lunch yesterday, wrapped them in a paper towel along with some orange peels and guess where they put the trash? Yep.

All we found of that was the soggy, chewed up bits of the paper towel and some doggy teeth marks in the orange peel!

I dont know who to blame. The kids or the dogs?
I'd say it's a toss up.

This is why the bathroom trash can sits on the back of the toilet. One of the benefits of Scotties is they have very short legs.

Good question. Our dogs are those strangely obidient kind and we have never had a problem like this. Our kids are not as well behaved as our dogs.

My last dog always ate tissues. (???) For some reason he loved 'em. We had to do the same as one of the PP ... put the bathroom trash on the top of the toilet. (What a pain) If you would blow your nose, he'd be sitting right there at your feet looking longingly at you. Strange, but funny. He was a love.
