Awww, I was just about to post.
I didn't see the thread until now.

That is weird behavior. You would think someone would have a happy story to tell. I guess when it's just family, they may not be in situations where they actually have stories to tell. Many probably haven't seen the bride & groom outside of family gatherings.

thanks for your input. I started thinking maybe it wasn't appropriate and if my inlaws ever read it they would be angry with me. Just felt good to get it off my chest.
