Just wanted to say that after being a die hard, life long fan of everything Disney..I am almost ashamed to admit this, but here goes...Took a couple years off and finally explored other theme parks:sad2: And let me say, they just aren't the same. WDW has and always will have my heart and when I want to have fun, well there is just no other place that can replace it!!! With that being said I am happy to announce, we are buying our annual passes this week and will never let them go again!!! So freaking happy to be back!!

I have to agree. I know Disney isn't perfect but we've been to different parks with my daughters competitive dance teams the last few years and there's no comparison. My kids were disappointed in them. We're not big thrill ride people is part of it. The rides and shows at Disney are more our pace. Getting in one thrill ride per day, Space, EE, etc is about all we want, lol. That with the ambience of the place and we're much happier there.

Funny, isn't it? Every time I go and think that will be my last trip, at least for a very long time, I am not happy again until planning my next visit. there is just something about it that gets in your blood. LOL

We went to Cedar Point in Ohio 2 summers ago... couldn't believe how dirty everything was. Even my kids, who are teenagers and early 20's, noticed it. We pretty much compare everything to Disney... :)

It's been a few years since I've been to a Bush Gardens, but they always ran a close 2nd to me for Disney. Very good shows, decent food, good theming.
But yeah WDW will always be #1 in my heart

Universal in Orlando is a close second to WDW for us! We like both and enjoy touring Universal after a hectic week at Disney. Yes, US is not the same kind of park as any of the Disney parks but Harry Potter is amazing; well worth a day or two.

I want to actually move there! Lol. Although, I am going to Universal one day of my upcoming trip but am thinking I won't like it as much as WDW! Mostly going for the Harry Potter areas.
