Never have I ever__________ at Disney

Never have I ever ridden Alien Encounter.... and I never can now that it's stitch :sad1:

I'm confused - I thought if somebody listed something THEY haven't done, and you HAVE, you then reply, talk a little about your experience, then list something you have NOT done, and so on to the next person, etc., etc., ectc.

Seems like everybody is just throwing out random things they have NOT done, and I'm hesitant to reply, because by the time I do, there's another "something" (if not multiple ones) there, and then my reply then seems "random", and there are numerous things now left "hanging", because it's already on to the next thing..........

Am I thinking about this wrong? :jester:

Never have I ever stayed in a monorail resort!
Stayed at the Poly for all of my trips except for the last one (AKL), and this one (I'm paying for it, so I need it to be cheaper :goodvibes).

Never have I ever ridden Splash Mountain!!

This is our favorite and our first and last ride every trip. We prefer the logs at WDW compared to DL as they seem more civilized to not straddle the seat.
I have never been to the Luau

I took my nephew to the Luau back during my "first in recent past" trip (not counting 1 I made for uncontrolled liberty from Boot Camp back in '82 for a few hours!) in Feb. '93, my family did not want to go, did not think they'd enjoy it and insisted he wouldn't like it, and wouldn't eat anything. I was fully prepared to have to leave the show early if he was bored, and get him another whole meal somewhere, so he wouldn't go hungry. We both ended up eating like gavones, having an awesome time, as we so often did when we were together, despite where we were or what we were doing, and this is despite this being the "old version" of the show, which was extremely long and drawn out, and seemed much more like a fashion show. Nice memories of he and I being together, especially now that we haven't been in touch in eons.

I also took 2 close friends there during 1 of my "DVC prize trips" back in '09, to celebrate us all being there together, and 1 friend loving "all things Hawaiian"' as close as we'll all get to Hawaii anytime soon. LOL. Also excellent memories with good friends, still look @ pics from that visit, and smile. :)

Never have I ever ridden Rock 'n Roller Coaster.......

Never have I ever ridden Mission Space...and I don't ever plan on it

That was my original intention ... I am assuming that the people that post have done the previous thing - just didn't share a story about it

I have ridden it, though it has been a while. My wife expressed some interest in checking it out our upcoming trip so we shall see. I like the concept but think they need to upgrade the technology in the screens a bit and maybe have more than one "mission" to increase re-ridability

Never have I ever done Hoop Dee Doo Review (though that is in the plans for our upcoming trip!)

I haven't done it either, My wife really wants to but alas, it is never in the plans. Someday we will get there.

Never have I ever tried a dole whip.

Never have I ever read the rules in the OP should be some of the ones here lol

Love the Hoop De Do, have gone every trip we go... Almost 20 trips... Have never done keys to the kingdom tour, on our bucket list though....

Never have I ever tried a dole whip.
Had it once. I like sweet but this was super sweet like a creamsicle on steroids. Once was enough.
Never have I ever seen Fantasmic (live). Sorry, Heidi  I've watched it on youtube but never in person. Just too tired by the end of my trip to stay for it. Is it really that great? Should I make a bigger effort next trip?

We've seen WDW's Fanstasmic! -once...not huge fans and DH had me skip it at DL even though theirs is supposedly superior.

I've never been to Flower and Garden.

I've never been to Flower and Garden.

We did Flower and Garden about 5 years ago. I loved it - Epcot looks so beautiful with all of those topiaries around.
I also saw some of the topiaries when I was there last year for the Princess Half Marathon Weekend (end of February, so before it officially started).

I've never been on Dinosaur (don't tell Ryno)

I've never been on Dinosaur
Dinosaur is a fun ride. It is kind of rough so obey those warnings about people with bad backs and such. It's also fairly intense as the dinosaurs are BIG and SCARY so keep that in mind when taking young kids. Even my daughter, who is 20, says she keeps her eyes closed.

What have I never done? God, that's a tough question. Lots of places I haven't eaten but that seems like a cop out answer. I've been on every ride and seen every show. Haven't stayed at every hotel but I've visited them all multiple times. I've never had a turkey leg either but someone already mentioned that.

Since we generally stay offsite, I've never done Early Magic Hours.

Never have I ever eaten at Chef Mickey's
Then you've missed a chaotic, loud restaurant with mediocre food.

Now the old Chef Mickey's was a nice table service restaurant at Downtown Disney (when it was still called Lake Buena Vista Shopping Village). I took my wife-to-be there on her first trip and she went to shake the ketchup bottle on the table which apparently had a loose lid and proceeded to spray ketchup all over the place. It was quite funny. She still has the Sorcerer's Apprentice shirt she was wearing that day and some of the stars are kind of orangey because of the ketchup stains.

I love early mornings; we have been able to get 6 or 7 rides in during that time, then move onto the lands that aren't open early.
I have never rented a sea racer (hopefully this next trip).

Okay - I love it, and think it's the best Disney show I've ever seen, but that's just me. I will tell you some of the reasons I love it - it has Sorcerer Mickey, it was the first huge use of lasers and water screen I'd ever seen when it came out, which amazed me (still does), and I had friends who worked not only on setting up the production (on both coasts), but also one who worked on stage. I also love the music, and it makes me tear up and yell "Yay Sorcerer" during the soaring finale every time. I also love the characters on the boat at the end - especially the rarer ones.

That being said, I will admit I feel the Pocahontas portion is now outdated, and always has been too long.

I will say if you happen to be in the park, definitely see it. If you don't have a park hopper, or plan to be in HS anyway, do NOT go just for that. All IMHO, and as a lover of the show, of course. :) I still listen to the sound track to put an instant smile on my face. :)

Cool memory, Steve. And I remember when it was at Downtown Disney. My friends during one of the first big Gatherings were going there, and saying what a great time they had. That was in Dec. '93. I think by the next December, it had moved into the Contemporary, which is the only location I've been to.

Used to be a "must do" for me - especially as I liked doing 1 character meal a trip. Then a bad experience there in maybe '08 or so - terrible, cold food, not being replenished, crowded, food all over the floor, buffet not being cleaned, tons of screaming out of control kids, turned me off, and I started gong to Crystal Palace instead. I don't think I've been back to Chef's, but would be wiling to give it another try, I have had some good meals and awesome characters interactions there.
