Never had a waitlist request filled so quickly!

I put in a wait list this morning for either the Riviera or AKL Savanna view for one night this March. I was fairly confident that I would manage to book something eventually, but I got the email just now that my Riviera room has been booked! That took about 8 hours to fill! Must be my lucky day!

Congrats! We've been members since 2007 and still haven't had a waitlist fill. I have one now for a single night between two blocks of nights later on this year at CFW. Hopefully it will fill and we won't have to move out, spend 1 night elsewhere, then move back int...

Good luck! I've had multiple wait lists filled and they are almost always when they are only for one night!

This happened to me once a few years ago! It's great because you're all set right away no waiting.

I needed one night at GFV to complete the first part of my split. It took 2 whole months. The BWV portion only took one week.

I will say it has usually taken me a couple weeks to months but there's a first time for everything!

I know! What will I do with myself for the next two months now that I don't have to obsessively worry about getting a reservation?!

I will say it has usually taken me a couple weeks to months but there's a first time for everything!

What's even stranger is that one time, I had a waitlist (that of course didn't fill), however, I found my night one day while playing around with the online system and was able to book it. It seems that sometimes, the system, for whatever reason, will put inventory back out to the general membership before filling waitlists.

About a year ago, I had a waitlist fill in under 20 minutes. It was during the first week of December, even.

Back in 2016, I needed a last minute (under 60 days) 5 night stay in mid October. Found one night at Poly, right in the middle of my needed dates. Booked it and set up two waitlists, each for 1 night either side of that date. Within an hour, one had filled. This was back when the wait list disappeared from your dashboard and you could call in and have MS complete the booking. Got that booking completed and set up another wait list for the fourth day. 20 minutes later, that wait list came through. Rinse, repeat. All four of the wait lists I set up for those single days filled within 3 hours of starting the search.
