I just got my BOG reservation! I was inspired by your email to keep trying even though we are only booking at our 60 day mark and it just popped up for 6:50pm!! Thank you!!

this is very true - never give up...
things just pop up out of the blue

i won't say it hasn't been difficult, as it has been..
DD made her resort reservation at 90 days when every ADR she wanted was already booked...
but i've been checking a thousand times a day (really), and have managed to get almost everything (still haven't got her akerhous but that's the only one)..

she's now 9 days away, and a lot of the ADRs that i managed to get for her have been in the past week.

so don't give up!!!!!!

I actually saw two times available. I clicked on the 9:10, could not get it. Then, I clicked on the 9:25 and I got it!

Wow, I'm totally thrilled right now.

I'm not sure what happened. How did two times suddenly become available?

that 'clicking on it and not getting it" happened to me a few times.
I suddenly saw something, clicked on it, entered my credit card number, and kablooie....no go...someone else must have clicked at the same time but was speedier than i entering all the info!! boy was that frustrating...
it happened to me three times!!!

I am obsessively stalking the Cancellation thread for February and calling everyday to try to get a BOG reservation. We just booked our February trip a couple of weeks ago so even though we are staying onsite all the reservations were gobbled up at 180 days out. I have managed to get most of what we wanted by being flexible on times except for BOG and oddly enough a breakfast at Hollywood and Vine. I have a lunch there but the breakfast menu appeals to us more. We are going the week of Valentine's Day and its not supposed to be a very crowded week so fingers cross we score the elusive BOG reservation!!

OP Here- I'm so glad to see that my little post has inspired so many of you! For the poster above, if you ever return....we love H&V lunch and I hate, hate, hate, hate, hate buffets! Also, if you are referring to the week after V-Day it's going to be VERY crowded because that's presidents week/PHM/mardi gras and Daytona 500. If going to week before it should be much better, just FYI!

We are the week before Valentines day so I think we should be ok at least according to the crowd calendars its supposed to be a good week. I am glad to hear Hollywood and Vine lunch is good if thats all we are able to get. My DS is a Jake nut. We loved Ohana breakfast last time and hated Chef Mickey dinner so I was a bit concerned about Hollywood and Vine lunch. Glad to hear good things!

Don't give up. I finally have all the dining reservations I wanted even BOG! I have stumbled on a slew of BOG openings for 2/12/15 for some odd reason lately so just keep swimming.

Add me to the list of people who benefited from not giving up. I was just able to get a 6pm reservation for my family of four the first week of January! Thank goodness I was still checking the January reservations thread so that I was able to see they were available.

My five year old will be thrilled, he LOVES BatB! This trip is already feeling magical, and we don't even leave for three weeks.
