Never done WDW & booked 5 days w/my 12 yr old. HELP

Hello gang. Everything is linked and I bought my threeone-day tickets. It will be Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday in the parks. I believe Monday afternoon we will arrive, unpack, visit/eat at art of animation and, if he’s up for it, DS. Tuesday is Magic Kingdom all day, Wednesday I thought we would take it a little bit easier and if he wants to do something he can choose and then to Epcot in the early evening and then Thursday I’m looking at Magic Kingdom again. Too many other parks to visit this trip so will make another visit next year. End with a visit to Disney springs on Friday because we don’t leave until 8 PM. So with that in mind can you recommend the best times to use fast pass and which rides need to fast pass. Thank you so much!!!
Not sure if you understand that you can take a break and then return to the same park you visited that same day. You don’t need a hopper for going back into the same park on the same day. So you could go to Epcot in the morning, then take a nice long break back at your resort, and go back in the evening.

You guys are the best!!! Much more sense to do Epcot on a full day, not half—how did I miss that?! I did realize we could come and go at the park but I’m not sure how realistic that is. My son is on the autism spectrum so it would be hit or miss depending on whether he was up for it. I think it does make a lot of sense to do what you are suggesting I so appreciate the help. Tonight I will fast pass!!! Again, thank you so much guys.
