Never booked a Ding before. Question:

Got a Ding this morning that will work for me. Supposedly it is good through Nov. 15, but when I try to book it the dates given to choose from are about 5 between now and Oct. 5. Am I doing something wrong or does that mean the others are gone already?
Do they go that quickly?

You should be able to pick any date b/n now and 11/15. If the fare is not available, it will show up as unavailable. Also, Dings are not for all flights or all days.

Don't forget, book your travel as 2 separate one-way trips. That way if the fares go down on one leg, you can re-book that one and still have the low fare locked in on the other. It worked for me this morning. I re-booked for $59 each way yesterday, got dinged this morning and was able to rebook the return for $59, while the ding and internet only fare were gone on our trip down.

did you put in the dates you wanted at the top of the page?
You have to fill this in like a reg. reservation.
