Neither DH nor I have been to Universal. Next month we are heading to Florida for a week to visit his sister and considering heading to Universal for a day. But we have questions. For example, which park should we visit (it will be DH, me and DD-10 months) and what will waits be like around the middle of March? TIA

If you get to the park at opening, you should be able to get both parks done. The Islands has more thirll rides, and they should have a child swap area for most rides. Universal has a whole kids area, and a delightful live Barney the Dinosaur show.

If you're only going to do one park, I would stick with the Studios with kids as young as yours. They will have a ball in the Woody Woodpecker's kids zone, Curious George play area and the Animal Actors show as well as E.T., Shrek 4-D and Jimmy Neutron.

Islands of Adventure has Seuss Landing, Camp Jurassic and the JP Discovery Center that will keep them occupied for hours.
