Never been to Universal...HELP@

I have been to WDW about 7times, so I know the ins and outs. I just booked 7 nights to go to Universal with my family, hubby, son 14 and daughter 10. I am clueless...what should we not miss or do? I need some good direction.

Wow, that's quite a bit of time. I suspect you wont be spending all that time at Universal. 4 days should be enough (two days per park). Will you be staying onsite or offsite? That is a major factor...

A couple of other things to do:

Sea World, it has improved greatly over the past years and has some exciting thrill rides. There is a free shuttle from Universal.

Wet 'n' wild is supposed to be a blast in the heat of the summer.

You will want to spend a lot of time on the water rides. The Universal hotel pools are great for pool hopping if you are staying onsite.

We are staying at the Sleep Inn, 1/4mile from UV. We bought the 5 day hopper pass. What should we definetly not miss, even if it means standing in a long line for?

Staying 5 or 7 nights, you'll see everything.
Disney is 4 parks all spread out, and the rides take forever to go on because of the pre shows. Universal is 2 parks, and the rides don't have the long preshows that take forever.

This is why Damo suggest going to SWF and WnW.
