Never been on a cruise; anxiety!

While a balcony would be nice, especially as mmbl says for certain cruises, I think you'd be more than happy with an oceanview. You'll have the light and the view and I figure why pay extra for a balcony when you can go just about anywhere on the ship to enjoy a balcony view lol.

(Personally I would never take an inside cabin. I absolute hated that. But I'd be fine with anything else, even having a porthole or obstructed view is still find with me! I just need to see sunlight. Having said that, I know people that like insides.)
