Netflix vs Blockbuster

So has anyone tried or have the Blockbuster Total Access? We have Netflix and love it but with the ouble price now im wondering if we should switch.

Any pros/cons or experiences out there? Would love to hear them. I would for sure do the free trial before we actually amke the switch but wanted to see what others thought.

I don't like either one. The selection of streaming movies is really bad. I have had a better experience with Amazon Prime, except for the fact that I can't play the movies through my Tivo or Game Consoles. To watch them on the TV, you have to hook your computer up to your TV or just watch them on the computer for now. I know that they are working on changing things but it will take some time. In the end, it is a much better deal, they have much more selection, and you get faster shipping if you order anything off Amazon.

i use netflix in canada its good for older stuff doesnt seem to have many new releases but its pretty cheap not sure about blockbuster as they just closed every b&m store in canada last friday.

Ive never had a problem streaming on netflix the quality is a little worse than I expected but for $7.99 a month if I even check out a tv series and watch a movie or two its worth it for me.

With blockbuster, you pay per movie ordered via streaming.

Connecting to newer tvs or blu ray players can be done via wifi connection (if you purchase a tv or blu ray player with wifi options. Both netflix and blockbuster have apps on our tv and blu ray players for this.

Amazon also has streaming which you pay per movie or it is included if you use amazon prime.

A roku box is another option for streaming things to your TV.
