Netflix question

One of my presents I got from my DW for Christmas was Netflix . My DW got the 2-movie plan for us, which is cool, as my DW and I have different tastes in movies. So that we both have the opportunity to watch our own movies, my DW and I came up with the idea of alternating the movies on our list, one hers and one mine. This could work, but what I'm afraid of is if I watch my movie first and send it back before she watches her, I'll get one of hers back, or vise verse. She doesn't always watch her movies quickly, which means I'd have two of hers and none of mine. I read on the Dis a while back that you can have two lists for two different viewing habits. Are these two physically different lists? If so, how do I set up the different lists?

It can be done. I've never done it myself but I believe this is how you set it up. You make a profile for each of you and have each of you allowed to have one movie out at a time. I think that you'll each have your own queue.

Go to the Netflix webpage.

Click on "Your Account" at the top of the screen.

Click on the "Account Profiles" under the "Account Information" section towards the center of the screen.

Click on "Add Profiles" that should allow you to set up a second profile where you say how many movies at a time and other options.

That should take care of it...I hope. Good luck.

We have 2 profiles. One for us and one for the kids. Works great - easy to switch between profiles, too.

We did this. I forgot how we did it though. DH has a queue and I have a queue. We each get 2 movies per month. He gets whatever he wants and I get whatever I want. My list alternates between movies I think I would like and movies I think the kids would enjoy.

We do this. Since I pay the monthly bill I get 2 movies at a time and BF gets 1. It works great. Plus my list was the original one so it has more of "our" movies on it than just him vs. me.

I DID IT!!!!!!!!!! I added a profile. I know it doesn't sound like much, but I was affraid if I did it I would screw something up.
