Netflix or Amazon Prime for Kindle Fire?

I am really enjoying my free trial of Amazon Prime's digital services. I'm considering paying for it when the trial is up. However, I am curious as to how Netflix compares to it as far as the quality of streaming, ease of use, and selection. I'm considering Netflix because I know we could also use it to stream through our wii and my husband's iphone. Any advice on which would be better?

I use both on my Kindle. Since I'm a Prime member with Amazon, I can stream an amazing amount of content without charge. I use the Netflix app on my Fire to stream their content as well. Both work equally well on the device. I'm enjoying the Prime content more right now. We've had Netflix for about a year and I feel like we've gone through most of their content. I don't know if it's accurate or just my feeling, but it seems that Prime has more available.

I'm no help, either. I'm a Prime member and I have both Netflix and Hulu+ subscriptions. Between the three I will never have to be bored again lol.

Prime for the loaner books for free
Netflix for the streaming.

We had netflix for streaming and dvds and dropped it when there was the hulabaloo with the price changes. we have been using our Amazon Prime service thru our Bluray player. The picture quality with Amazon is MUCH better but the volume of movies available for free is limited. I have to say though that even paying for premium content I'm still saving money over the monthly subscription cost for Netflix.

I like Netflix better, although the quality can be a bit jumpy. I like that I can watch something through the Wii, my computer, my Kindle Fire or my iphone. The show picks up at the same point. AmazonPrime didn't seem to have as much content but I did like the loaner book when I had the free trial.

I don't know if this will matter to you, but netflix has parental controls and amazon prime does not. I am an amazon prime member for free shipping and I thought it would be awesome to stream on our new tv. I am not happy at all that there is no way to control the content that is available for free streaming. There is not even an option to add a password or pin for the free content. Netflix (when we had it), allowed me to go in and adjust what content would even be allowed to come through as an choice on our tv.
