Netflights car rental errors

Not massive savings but still some good deals on there for anyone looking.
No idea what dates it affects but here is what I have found so far.

Dates checked 5th-19th August, MCO
7 seater Minivan
Thrifty - £372 adding either Platinum or SatNav takes £3 off cost. less 5% Quidco = £350.55
Dollar - £398.61 add Platinum takes off £2 less Quidco = £376.78 (Satnav option adds £3.09)

To book same car with USrentacar/Dollar cost would be £536.94

Ford Mustang Convertible or Similar
Thrifty - £391 + platinum takes off £2 = £389 less Quidco = £369.55 (Satnat adds £3)
Dollar - £438.78 minus £3 for platinum = £396.85 (Satnav adds £2.06)

To book same car with USrentacar/Dollar £566.24

Thrifty and Dollar are same company, same kiosk and same cars to choose from.

Just went to look as we still need a car for September and every time I click to car hire I get an error page so they might be fixing it.

Wayne, have you ever used Thrifty? We were teetering on booking a Dodge caravan through them, but some bad reviews re: poor customer service and slightly shady business practices put us off. We're trying to book 3 weeks over Xmas/new year and the prices at moment are poor - up to £1000 for full size on some sites, but Thrifty were offering the caravan for just over £500.

Never used Thrifty but they are same company as Dollar, I use Dollar Express so go straight to the kiosk for collection, if the Dollar computer is busy then they use the Thrifty computer in the same kiosk, they are all the same database, same staff, same row of cars you choose from. No different to booking with Dollar.

Still getting above prices for our 1st 14 days (5th-19th August) no problem, letting me go right thru to payment.

Just checked your dates, it is working, £372 less £3 if you add Platinum or +£3 for Satnav. If you add both then it adds £60
Platinum + Pre Paid Sat Nav 2: £60.00
Platinum Inclusive 2-2011/2012: -£3.00
Standard + Pre-Paid Sat Nav 2: £3.00

Price after adding platinum
Total inc. VAT £369.00

Always worth checking Netflights for things like this because I've seen it happen on their site a number of times before - a few years ago I got a Compact car about 10% cheaper than anywhere else, plus an upgrade to Platinum for minus one pound!

£558 less £4 = £554 less 5% Quidco = £526.30 Not bad at all for 3 weeks 7 seater. incl tank of gas & extra drivers.

hi sorry to butt in can i just ask a question im getting a good price for an 8 seater from 3rd nov to 17th nov with netflights through thrifty does anyone know if you pick up at the same place as dollar as ive only ever done dollar and if they have the same policy with deposits as they are the same company ish as i know dollar accept debit cards as have done this with them in the past thanks
