:confused3Hello all... Me, DH and 7 year old DD are planned to go to Disneyland next week. We fly into LBG at 9PM on Monday. Staying at Anaheim Park Hotel. We are going to Disneyland Tues,Wed and Thurs. Flying home Friday morning at 9am. Well...my Hubby hurt is back at work and now wont be able to go. It will just be me and my daughter. Part of me thinks it will be a fun Mother/Daughter trip, but I am sad hubby cannot go and scared to go without him. I HATE driving, so now I have to drive from the Airport to the hotel. Also found out that the Disneyland shuttle doesnt come to our hotel until 9am. Well that won't work for our Magic Morning, so I am taking a Taxi Tuesday morning. I have so many emotions running through me...AHHHH. Any other Mom's/Daughters gonna be there those 3 days???

aww im sorry an i think i can understand a bit. I wish your dh would get better enough to go.
taxis arent to hard what about the art system tho maybe they go by your hotle.
also just have alot fun take pics an try to make it special for you an her.

Awww, I'm sorry to hear about your husband. Hopefully, he'll get better and be able to go. If not I know you and your daughter will have a fabulous mother/daughter trip. I know the driving can be scary, but I know you'll be fine. Have a wonderful trip!!!!

Last April I went on my own with two of my 3 children to watch our eldest play in his school band at Disneyland. He travelled with the band. I was very nervous too. It went great! The only part that was a bit nerve wracking for me was driving right around LAX (which is not an issue for you). You will have a great time and it is very safe and tourist filled around the disney property so I don't think you will feel unsafe. Have a great time.

Have you thought about taking a shuttle from the airport to the hotel? It might alleviate some stress if you don't have to drive.

Have a great trip. I'm sure it will be a fantastic bonding experience for you and your daughter.

How bad is your DH's back? What about renting an ECV for him? Will he be home alone while you're gone? Heck he could hang out at the hotel if he was really hurting. I assume you've already purchased his airfare, DLR PH....
