OKAY. So there's this guy I like that a lot of people on here know about. Hehe. I want to ask him out on Tuesday.

Should I?
What should I use as a "pickup line"?

Oh, and StitchfansJr is going to ask her crush out on Wednesday [I think...] so it will kinda work like a buddy system. Please give tips and feedback. Thanks! :D

:rolleyes1 I asked Jenny for help too. :D

If you think it's worth it. then do it. Just take him off to the side and just.. ask him.

Alrighty, I hope this goes as planned. I mean, I kinda don't want to ask him out. Because I mean, if it ends suddendly, everything would just vanish. Do you know what I mean? Like, I don't want it to end. But I want to ask him out anyways, even though it would be hard to move on...

Well, Alli can pass all the stuff that I told her.

But like I say to everyone. Just do it.

tere is no way of me giving the other side of the picture on this one

on the other hand here is my friend talbott to give some advice

"just go for it"

ok im off the boards for a little while

ps:pm me for a follow up for those of you who know what i mean

no pick-up lines needed.

just be natural, be yourself!
tell him how you truly feel, and just hope for the best.
try to be confident! There is nothing more beauti*** than confidence. :goodvibes
and if you act nervous, then it'll make him act nervous, so if you act confident and like you know what you're doing, than it should go alright.
there is nothing that you can do except that.

i hope everything works out!!!! BEST OF LUCK!!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes

Go for it! Good luck! :thumbsup2

And to emphasize what Caitlin said, no pickup lines are needed. Pickup lines backfire more than they actually work. Just be yourself, and you'll be fine.

And remember, above all else: smile! :goodvibes

I agree be yourself and there shouldn't be the need for pick up lines

if he likes you as much as you like him he will say yes

"Just do it"

Pick up lines are tacky.
I think it's cute when a guy twists your words and says something sweet to ask you out, but I dont' think it works if girls do it for guys.

Thanks guys. I asked my mom for advice, and she says for me not to ask him out and to play Hard-To-Get. She also said it IS the 21st century so that might not work...

Ok, does this sound good?

"I don't know if you feel this way and I'm just going to say it, do you want to go to the dance with me?" *Queue blush and smile.* :flower3:

Ahh, I'm going to ask my friend's opinion. Even though she'll probably say not to go for it. Twinsy, where are you today?! :scared:

Thanks for wishing me luck! I'm still kinda nervous though! What if he doesn't like dances? What if he can't date anyone? WHAT IF HE DOESN'T LIKE ME??

bot dont try to make him jelous
it will make him not like you

Okay, I have a little story. I hope this doesn't scare you. THis is why it is better to ask someone out in person:

I asked a guy out on AIM. The second after I sent the message it said <screen name> has been IDLE since: blah blah blah. (It was like hours before I sent the message) So therefor the instant message was on his computer, and some how he never got it. I then got a friend to ask him if he got the message in school (because I was a very bigt chicken) and he said no, but he said that he just wanted to be friends anyway. And I was okay with that. I hope your experience goes better then my did. :lmao: Trust me it will be fine, I just had very bad luck, thats what I get for being a chicken.

Heh, thanks :D

AHH I'M NERVOUS. >_<

Should I ask him to the dance, Carnival (Wednesday), or BOTH???

whatever is first and go from there

In my opinion, go for the Carnival. It's much more laid back, and neither of you would have to worry about stepping on eachother's feet.

If all goes well, then go to the dance.
Edit: and plus, if you ask him to the dance, i think both of you would feel pressured. He might reject you for that, because it's more formal and what not.

Glads my humiliating story could be of help! Lol wow I didn't relize how many typos I made until I re-read it. Wow. I agree with HSMndLKfan92, a carnival is more laid back so it might be better to go to the carnival with him. If you guys are really good friends (you didn't really clarify that, at least I don't think you did) perhaps ask him to dance at the, well, dance (:rotfl: ) If it is before the carnival. If the dance is after the carnival, then see how the Carnival goes, and then decide whether or not you want to ask him to the dance. :lmao: I don't think I have used the word carnival so much in my life. Wow okay I am done. That is confusing.

Good Luck!
