Nervous about the upcoming semester

School starts again next week, and on one hand I'm really looking forward to it. The two classes I'm taking this semester sound like fun, and one of them is with my favorite professor. For the most part, I'm excited about being back in classes again. (That's the good part about skipping classes in the summer -- makes me ready to go back when classes start again in the fall).

The bad part is I'm *exhausted* now as it is. I think I'm still sick and that's why, but if I'm so tired I'm barely able to get my 40 hours in a week now as it is, how on earth am I supposed to get 40 hours *plus* two classes *plus* homework for those two classes done??

You just do it. I'm working and doing two classes as well.

I pace myself, and try to do assignments ahead of time. Ijust finished a grueling summer semester as well (chemistry--ICK!).

I am going to do my best, and do it all. Between work, the kids and other house stuff, I have to get it done.

I find myself getting up a 4 am and getting school work done before the craziness of the day starts. Or staying up late and doing it all.

I have no kids yet, but do have a house to clean and care for, work full time and am going to school full time (4 classes this semester, would have been my normal 5, but couldn't get one I wanted, so decided to just "take it easy" this semester). I know what you mean about "already" being tired. No real advice, just make sure you take time for doing stuff "you" like. The dishes can sit for another night, or the laundry pile can get slightly higher ;) SO is also really great to me when I am so busy with work and school which is a giant help!

Good luck to all of us returning College students!! :wave2:

I've been where you are! I worked night shift and took my classes during the day. Slept & did homework in between. It was crazy!!! A lot of times I just felt like a zombie. But I got through it. (with honors)

Coffee, coffee, coffee. :D

Cindy B is right. Pace yourself!
