I will probably not get back to disney in a long time and I am SO worried that it is going to rain next week and spoil our plans.....what do you think?

Just remember that if it rains it usually doesn't rain for hours on end. It's usually a brief storm. So I don't think you should be overly worried about it. Not to say you shouldn't come prepared for it though! :)

We've never let a little thing like rain ruin our WDW vacation. It's only water and there's plenty of indoor attractions if it rains really hard. We get the cheapie rain ponchos at the $ store and bring an extra pair of shoes for everyone. I hear (but haven't tried) Crocs are a great wet-weather option. Try to relax and enjoy your trip regardless of the weather. :cool1:

I'm learning as I get older that you shouldn't spend too much time worrying about things over which you have no control--i.e. the weather. Go prepared for rain, hope that it doesn't come, but if it does, make the best of it. Plenty of rides are indoors anyway, and in September at least it will still be a warm rain. Enjoy your trip!

I can't remember a trip, out of the past 10 years, that it didn't rain. Mostly just a brief afternoon shower but a torrential downpour for hours twice on the same trip. We use the rain time to look in the shops because we don't spend much time in them usually. They only drawback to that is that they are really crowded when it rains. If it's just a light shower with no lightening most of the rides are still open. Bring disposable ponchos and continue to have fun! We like disposable ponchos because we don't like having to fold and store wet ones. Disposables are 2/$1 @ dollar tree so I stock up before we leave and make sure that everyone has one in his/her fanny pack before heading off to the parks.

DS loves the rain, DH and I don't mind it, we are used to pop up storms, and won't let rain ruin our trip next week....we'll just splash in puddles and get wet and have a ball.

Nice thing down here, is it's warm when it rains.

I live near the mouse, and it hasn't been raining too much this past week. We have our rainy season, during the summer. Even then it usually only rains for about 30 minutes at a time. Now that fall is almost here, we haven't been getting too much. Just be prepared for it that it could happen, and then pray that it doesn't.:rotfl:

It's Florida. It's still in the 90's every day. Therefore it rains almost every day. It's not a big deal, it usually lasts for under an hour.
