nephew performing in japan!

didnt' know where to post this. my nephew, who graduated from Northwestern Uni. in evanston IL (near CHgo) was hired to be a tenor in the Frog Choir at the Wizardiing World of Harry Potter in Japan! (opening in spring 2014)
he will be there for one year, with an apt., meal stipend, etc etc. what a wonderful experience for him! Yay for Will !

OH wow I can only imagine how popular WW is going to be there. Wow.

We've GOT to start saving up for a trip to Asia! See DH's relatives in Korea then hop on over the water to Tokyo for some serious themepark fun!

bumber.. what a great trip that would be! I checked out airfare to Japan...YIKES!!!!
we actually haven't seen the frog choir.
last time we went to the "dark side" it was about a year ago. we went to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, but I don't remember the frog choir. we went once for early entry, and once later at night.. either it wasn't there yet, or we just paid attention to the main stuuf.. thereby missing all the "smell the roses" stuff.

(like it was quite a few trips before we discovered the jamminators at Epcot.)...
now that we ahve beent o epcot numerous times, we stayed at Boardwalk last spring on points, and spent most of our time going back and forth between the featured flower power concert, the british Invasion, and Off Kilter. what fun!

What's bizarre is that DH has gotten some terrific fares for work trips, that were nearly last-minute. It's just so odd. Airfare is weird.
