Is this still being refurbished? Any projected end date or other info?
Thanks!

I don't see it listed on the current refurbishment list so I would guess that it is open.

It was open when I was there in January, and I haven't seen anything listing it closed since then.

Okay, thanks. The Unofficial Guide said it had started refurbishment in preparation for 2016 sequel and I didn't see anything about it on google.

It was closed for much of 2014, with a rumor that it wasn't going to re-open, but it did re-open as scheduled. As wdwfan22 said, I haven't heard anything about another extended closure for Nemo at this point. I think DLR is so focused on the 60th anniversary kick-off in May, that any planned major/long closure that is going to happen in 2015 has already started.

It was open March 1. I know at one point there was speculation that it would close forever, but this doesn't seem to be the case. I know there used to be some tentative plans to completely change Tomorrowland, including removing that and replacing it with something with better loading times, but I think all those plans sort of got put on the back burner. My guess is since the submarines are so associated with the original park so much, it was their decision to keep it around at least through the 60th. That's just my guess though.

You have to remember the unofficial guide is almost a year out of date by the time it hits stores. Which year are you looking at? 2013 or 2014?

I have the 2015 one. I know it can't totally be up to date. It just imploed it wouldn't open until 2016.

They just refilled the lagoon in November. It would have to be a major emergency for them to do that again so soon.

So it was released in September 2014 (according to Amazon). So yes it was being refurbed when they were writing the book, but was back soon after the book was released.

Yeah... I know the book was released in September. That's why I asked here. For a current update.
