Hi My soon to be nephew LOVES NEMO! We are getting married at Disney in Nov and I was wanting some sccop on the Living Seas and the nemo stuff that is there. He will be 5 and talks about going all of the time and I thought if someone could tell me about the Turtle Talk w/ Crush (what is that) and the other things I could tell him about it.
Thanks

Turtle Talk with Crush is an absolute Must See with preschoolers, and especially so with a Nemo fan. In a nutshell, you go into a room with a large screen at the front and benches for the adults to sit on (the children can sit on the carpet nearer the screen). Crush appears on the screen as if he were behind a windown looking directly into the ocean. He then 'interacts' with the children, asking their names, referring to them as 'boy in the yellow shirt' or 'girl with the Tinkerbelle hat', etc. They can ask him questions and he answers them quickly, humorously, and in that slow, 1960's style Crush does so well.

It's a delightful show, but the wait times are horrendous. Plan a good hour or more if you don't arrive early. Happily, there is a Kidcot station nearby if you have someone to hold your place in line.

The rest of the pavilion is relatively uninspired. Your basic aquarium with Nemo signage.

I won't tell you ABOUT it (you should be deluged with complete discriptions by other posters, I'm sure).

I'm just here to tell you that you and your ENTIRE FAMILY should LOVE "Turtle Talk".

DON'T MISS IT, its GREAT!

BTW, you can get INSTANT ANSWERS to most questions like this 24/7 just by using the SEARCH (near the top of the page) and type in a key word or phrase like "Turtle Talk" or "Crush" or "Nemo".
You'll have the benefit of seeing what posters FOR MONTHS have been saying about ANYTHING.

Can you get a fast pass for this?

Don't think this is yet a FastPass attraction, but it is becoming so popular I'd say it might rate them adding it at some point.

OTOH, the thing to remember is that even if the Queue looks "FULL", they can load a lot of people into one showing (the little kids sit in a GROUP on the floor).

Turtle Talk is not a FastPass attraction. But as the previous poster mentioned, even if the line seems dauntingly long, the video room manages to house quite a few people, and comfortably. The children generally sit on the carpet at the front of the room, so they have the best view of Crush and best chance of being choosen. The parents then sit on the benches behind their kids.

My advice - to get your nephew noticed, have him wear something that will make him stand out againt the other kids. Since he loves Nemo so much, I would suggest having him wear a Nemo/Crush hat. I've been several times and found that he picks on the kids who have a distinguishable clothing, and it's usually Finding Nemo themed!
