Turtle Talk is inside the Seas building...Nemo wasnt open last week when we went. It is a neat show for kids. The turtle can really think on his feet (or fins...or flippers....whatever)

Make sure your kid goes in with some good questions.

Good question. I Want to know this too. When I go to EPCOT after getting FP for soaring I want to make a rush to Nemo. I need details.

I was there last week and saw the shells that will be the Nemo ride, it was scheduled to open today. A CM asked if my daughter could test out the ride last Wed but he said only she could go (she is 5) and he wasn't wearing a name tag so I would not let her go. The next day I saw the CM with his tag working at a souvenir ball booth so I guess it would have been ok but it just freaked me out a little that she had to go alone with an un'marked' person wearing a white shirt and khaki shorts.

Anyway, you walk through the gift shop and the Nemo ride is on your right, not sure where the que will be. Turtle talk is to the left with the que right in the middle of the room when you exit the gift shop near the stairs.

Epcot is the only time sheet I don't have from my trip but looking at the sheet with all the parks for dates Oct 1-7, Future World opens at 9:00am.

The Seas pavilion opens at 9am.

Up until now (and I have not heard anything different yet) Turtle Talk's first show does not start until 10am.

The que for the Nemo ride is outside in the left front of the building. Right where the que was for the old ride. We rode it on Friday and it is very cute!

You get off the Nemo ride a little ways before they have the lines for turtle talk so it is natural to just walk into the next queue. The Nemo ride had some very interesting technology. I though it was cute but I didn't understand the jellyfish part but I haven't really watched all of Nemo.

Jellyfish (not just in Nemo) are dangerous.
They have stingers with venom that can sedate and paralyze.

In Nemo, the characters are supposed to swim around them, but they end up swimming through them at great peril.

Honestly, I don't like the way they use the pavilion to tout the Nemo cartoon. It seems cheap and overdone that way. It's a bit like Donald Trump demanding that his last name be stamped on everything in New Jersey! I wish they would just come up with a nice original name and KEEP it. I've been to the LS twice and it never seemed stale or old. Does anyone else feel differently about that?

Living Seas was the most boring useless pavilion at Epcot to me.

I simply would not bother going through that endless set of queues and waiting rooms and films and faux elevators just to get to see the fishies.
We ate at the Coral Reef Restaurant and got all the fish sightings we needed.

When they added Turtle Talk, the wray-pool, and the Nemo theme, we started going to the Seas every trip, even several times per trip. Now with the Clam-Shells, its icing on the cake.
Good riddance to the hydrolators, good riddance to the "Deluge" and long live Nemo!

And as far as "touting" the movie... Nemo was a MONSTER hit and needs no "promotion" at the park. Its the movie that's promotes the pavilion.

So yes, there is at least one person out here that feels differently about it.

We rode the new Nemo ride last week and it was pretty cute, definately for little kids..but cute.

They were still working out the kinds as the little clamshells had stopped in the middle of the ride.

I do believe that turtle talk was right after the ride, but we didn't do it. We looked around in the tanks and saw divers swimming around, but I don't think it was too great. I would probably only go back to that area with my DD for the Nemo ride.

I think its amazingly entertaining for all ages.

The problem here is, you sound a lot like the non-Disney folks who say exactly the same thing about WDW in general... "How much of that MOUSE-stuff can you take?"

I can take a LOT of anything that is done with creativity, attention to detail, and quality.

That is very, very strange... on Tuesday Oct. 10 we happened by just as they opened it for a test run. The entrance is outside where the animatronic gulls ("mine, mine, mine") are by the pavillion sign. We entered with about 20-40 people in front of us in line. My kids were enjoying it, but unfortunately the ride broke down 90-95% of the way through. But, why would they want just a child to test ride it after many adults and children had already ridden it? Were there other CMs around when he spoke with you? Where did he ask you this? It's probably not something as sinister as I imagine, but it does sound unsettling... if he had asked us something like that with no name tag and no other CM nearby, personally I would probably have gone straight to the nearest uber-CM and asked for a clarification on who he was and what the purpose of just the child going was.

Anyway, for those who want to know, the ride entrance is at the pavillion sign where the gulls are (at least it was when we entered for the test ride), and it exits riders (as far as I can tell-- we had to walk out after the breakdown) into the pavillion near the near the stairs and the Turtle Talk line.

If Turtle Talk still begins at 10am (I have not heard any differently) then the queue used to begin forming about 9:40am.

With the new Clam-mobile ride, its possible that folks will start lining up for Turtle Talk even earlier, so just keep your eyes open on the queue area when you are in the Seas with Nemo & Friends pavilion.

Anyone who has been more recently can please post what they observed.

Well, you're in luck, there are dolphins, although they don't do trick shows and one can't swim with them EDIT: or maybe one can-- there are reports here that one can do special "Dolphins in Depth" for a $150+fee.

Nemo ride won't need FP, probably-- very fast continual feed of clammobiles.

I would say get in line for Turtle talk very late in the afternoon/day. We waited 10-15 minutes (one show length) rather than the 45-60 minute waits of earlier in the day.
