Nemo ride coming 2007

Has anyone heard any news on this ride yet. Besides getting a peep at it on the autopia ride of course.

Best info is that it will be opening in late June or early July. You better believe DL is interested in getting this open ASAP, so if it slips to July it was despite strong effort.

Any slip would be most likely due to rains in January/February, so you wouldn't get a firmer idea of how long the slip may be until after the California Rains slow in March-April.

I read somewhere else that Disney recently started to have crews work 24/7 to try and get Nemo in on time. I'm going in April so I'm disappointed because I don't think I have a hope of it being ready in time for me to ride it.

I'm really pushing for us to go to DL in November 2007, so that would be awesome to ride the Nemo ride! I never even knew they used to have submarines at DL. My kids were sure excited at the thought of an underwater Nemo ride at DL!

Didnt they have submarines at one point for some attraction? I thought they did, but I cant remember what for.

Yes, the sub lagoon used to have the Submarine Voyage. It was taken out mid-1990s I think. The lagoon sat vacant for many years and a few years ago Disney decided to bring the subs back with a new theme, Finding Nemo.

man the sub ride was pretty fun when i was little, just to be underwater and stuff. but the finding nemo thing will be awesome. last time i was at DL it was all dirt and stuff (i snuck a peak from the monorail station hehe) but i'm going this week... how does it look now??

I loved the submarine ride when I was little. It was probably one of my favorites. Converting that to a Nemo theme makes perfect sense. I just wish they had done it a year sooner.

Well its good they are replacing the old ride with something very similar and very COOL!
