Nemo Ride Angler Fish--Always Broken?

The last two times i've been on the ride (about a year apart), the angler fish has been just sitting in one position instead of moving around like it is supposed to. Is it normally like this now, or is it one of those things that is never fixed?

Comes and goes, like Brer Rabbit hopping across the fence in Splash.

There are certain effects (like these) that are perpetually maintenance headaches.

I'd say another is the movement of the monster-sized yeti at the climax of Exp. Everest.

Some effects are abandoned "permanently" like the car that used to crash into the wall just before your car goes outside at Test Track.

I hope they can find a way to get the angler fish running more regularly.
It's an amazing mechanical effect.

The angler fish worked fine just a month ago when we were there..could be one of those flukey things that happen often.

One time on the Safari the bridge didn't shake for us, and another time in Test track the lights stayed on through the tunnel and so the truck didn't have as great a scare factor...or are they supposed to stay on? heheh I can't remember really.

The CAR is still there, but it is now "permanently smashed" against the wall.

When TT was new, that other car "crashed/smashed" anew, each time a guest car passed through the room.

aww too bad they didn't try and fix it. That would have added to the wall effect I'm sure. I suppose logistically there are some things that they just figure they will fix when they referbish a ride completely. Sort of a 'we're never going to get it to work right, so lets just worry about it when we can redo it.'

On a related matter, I haven't seen Chris fetch Joe Perry's Les Paul guitar in years. When are they gonna fix Chris?

The Angler fish was working fine for me on Sunday. I never knew about the car in Test Track.

We rode Nemo twice during the past week, and the fish was working both times.

Yep, somebody would open a door on the extreme right and take the guitar. I think I've only seen this, at most, twice, and not since the first year or two since Rock 'n Rollercoaster opened.

Thanks for the responses. I've only seen the angler fish once so I hope it will be working next time I go.
