Nemo/DRL report-questions answered

First, a week is a reallllllllllllllllllly long time at Disneyland but we happy but very weary travelers are back. The Nemo ride was NEVER once, not at 7:00am, not at midnight ever under a 2 hour wait and yes we did it twice but because I had a guest assistance card due to 15 leg operations we "only" waited 40 minutes. The good news about everyone and their brothers being at Nemo was that you could pretty much walk onto every other ride-5 minutes for Space, 10 for Indy-you get the idea... The good news is you do not have to get in the line to get your VMK cards. Simply go to the CM at the end of the line and say "May I please have a few VMK cards" and suddenly you'll find yourself the new owner of oh 100 or so sub middle pieces(ok so it took 5 days but only because we actually went on rides) Yes VMK is open in Innoventions still and yes you can still get Black ears-ok so we came home with a few of those too....and drumroll please not only did zsmile compete but his group placed 1st at nationals both in his category and then 1st place overall winners!!!

We took the kids for what ended up becoming a long day on Thursday. Didn't bother going near Nemo cause it was just to much with the kids that day. I think the closest we came to there was Space Mtn. And that was no 5 minute wait for standy-by. LOL I am assuming you meant though for the guest asst. it was short which usually they are except it seems Pirates, Nemo and one or 2 other rides aren't. If I hadn't gotten our Fastpasses that morning when we got there we wouldn't have gone. I only did it cause our 5 yr old finally wanted to go with me. Otherwise we skip it cause the wait. That wait the whole day was at least an hour or more. Same with the usual big rides like Splash and Fantasyland ones. Which I'm thankfully we have aps so we can skip things when we don't want to do the waits and do them if we really want next time. We always leave things up to the kids anyway. LOL Hubby was saying we could take the kids one evening and do the wait for Nemo if they want to. Once the sun is not beating down on the area. Glad you had fun. I will have to go get some of those cards the next time we go. I thought about it and going over to ask but just never got the chance that day so good to know.

Can I Have A Few Nemo Middle Subs? Have Any Pictures of VMK in Innoventions?

The only ride we used the guest assistance pass on was Nemo because by then I literally couldn't walk another step-my ankle and leg were so disneyfried-as a lot of people get. We did rides from 8:00am (or 7 on early opening days) until about noon from Tuesday-Saturday and we had wait times of no longer than 10 minutes! Guess we were very, very lucky indeed! The longest wait we had was for Grizzly on Thursday but it was midday and it was hot out and even that was only 30 minutes. We encountered the Dream Team in Frontierland twice, once in Downtown Disney by Build A Bear, once going into Turtle Talk in search of Animator Desk cards (they're out right now but expecting more soon) and once by Jungle Boat in which I was offered the Dream Fast Pass but because zsmile was off pin trading at the time, and he had to be with me, I said thank you and asked that they give it to someone that had their enitre party with them (thinking back I should have taken it just for the collector's value of it but we were on day 4 by then) all in all had a blast and we are tired but happy and now trying to recover!
