While we are at the Fort in a cabin, neighbors of ours want to stop by and see the resort and cook out with us. I thought we would park in the main parking area that day so our guests could park at the cabin. What info do they need to give at the resort entrance to be allowed to come to the cabin for a couple of hours? Are we allowed to do this? We want to take the kids to the campfire sing along together as families, can we do that too with our guests? Thanks!:confused3

I don't know about having them park at your cabin, but they could always park at the main parking area and take an internal bus to your cabin. We've done that lots of times when my parents have been at the Fort in their motorhome and we've been at other hotels. For this they wouldn't need to do anything special...other than know where to find you...and the bus drivers are very helpful in making sure you get to where you want to be :)

I don't think that it would be a problem.. when we visited the world in 2004 we wanted to see the yacht club.. at the time we just started thinking about a disney wedding, all we needed to do is show the guard at the entrence to the resort our drivers licenses and all he did was ask what we were gonna do there and how long did we think we were gonna be there!!

At the Fort, they give guests a little more hassle about going through the gate as there is supposed to be only 1 car per site, and only registered guests should really be in the main parking area or at the sites. Just have them park in the Overflow and take a bus back, or meet them at Overflow and drive them back.
