here's my situation:
I have a June UY and want to book a reservation for March 2010. That's still within my June 2009 UY, however I've used all of my 2009 points so I'll have to borrow from my 2010 UY. I don't have enough points to borrow for the number of nights I want, so which option do you think is best?

1. Book 4 nights on pts and 2 nights on cash
2. Request a point transfer into my 2010 UY so I can book all 6 nights at once (can transferred points be borrowed?)
3. Book 4 nights using my points then rent a reservation for the other 2 nights

Thanks for your input :goodvibes

As far as I know, transferred points can be banked (after transferring), but not borrowed.
I think option 1 if all done through MS (not cash through CRO) would be the only guaranteed way to stay in the same room.
With option 3 you may have to move.

You could rent points from another member and have them transferred into your account that way you would control the reservation and the points.
You have to ensure the proper UY which would be 2009 but it is very doable. You can post/search on the Rent/Trade Board.

Thanks for your suggestions. Looks like option 1 (cash rooms booked through MS) will be my best bet.
Liferbabe - ideally, I would like to transfer points into my 2009 use year, but I already did a point transfer.
