Hello, we are going down for Food and Wine and this will be my first time with needing medical accessories such as oxygen a nebulizer and an ECV. I have had to use an ECV occasionally in the past but just rented one in the parks but now my breathing is taking a toll and will need to rent one full time. We are staying at the Dolphin and a long time ago I read on here that Disney puts out a small book on disabilities and I need really specific info on the respiratory section. Any direction someone can point me to would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Disney does not put out a specific book. The only thing they have is a "Guidemap For Guests With Disabilities" which is one published per park.

At the current time the best source is right here. There is a book called "The Open Mouse" available which is a few years old. There is another book in progress that I know of (I am a peer-reviewer for it) but the publisher and publication date are not yet known.

Are you bringing your O2 or having it delivered? If your having it delivered then I recomed that you keep calling and checking on things to make sure everything is set up correctly. If your bringing your own you will not have to worry about that. If your neb is full size you can take it to the parks with you and leave it and the medications at first aid at each of the parks. If you need a treatment while in the park they will give you a private area to take care of yourself in.

The disABILITIES FAQs thread has a lot of information that might be helpful. That thread is near the top of this board or you can follow the link in my signature to get there.

What specifically are you looking for that we could help you with?
