OK, here is my dilemma. My GF and I are recent additions to the AP club. We stay close to WDW no more than 30 min. However, we are looking into finally staying on Disney property just to say we did it and enjoy the little things they have to offer.

What are the recommendations for a two person stay such as prior experiences any couples may have. We are looking for a two day stay and open to whatever you fellow experienced resort guests may have, as this is our first time. Types of resorts doesn't really matter, not picky on the "romantic" type of thing just a fun stay.

The only reason I seek a delegation is because it seems a lot of these resort room sizes are for a full family or for more than two people and if that is the case maybe we can bug a few more friends to hop on board and enjoy if not maybe I'm missing something out there. Thanks!

I would suggest yacht club for a couple, but another really good one is the wilderness lodge

I would suggest POR, especially if you like the Downtown Disney area. You can also request a King bed and enjoy the extra space. I believe they have some lovely corner king rooms at POR. POR has a very relaxed, old New Orleans feel. The walk to POFQ is nice, and you can rent the bikes or take a carriage ride. The quiet pools are also nice for a swim away from all the kids.

YC or BC if you enjoy EC dining. WL is also a nice choice if you are a MK fan.
