We used a sort of shoulder bag that came with our luggage set for a toiletry bag for years and now its falling apart.

What I'm looking for is a bag that can hold some full size bottles (at least 3-5), some pockets/organizers and will make it through the airlines checked luggage.

I like the Baggalini Complete cosmetic bag but I can't tell if it will hold full size bottles in the photos or if it will make it through being thrown around by airlines baggage handlers.

The other one I like is the Travelon Elite Case but that one doesn't have very many organizing pockets or straps. Again I need this to be sturdy enough to go into checked luggage at the airport.

Any advice on these or any other bags that worked for you?

Thanks!

We use this one from LLBean:

"Roomy enough for a family; fits full-size bottles. Improved with innovative side-zip storage pockets, so you can quickly access toiletries
Built-in hook allows you to hang it anywhere, from shower rods to tree branches
Main compartment fits full-size bottles and includes a removable shower caddy
Made of durable, water-resistant fabric
Our signature toiletry kit has been a customer favorite for years. From the start, it's been known for its hinged design and a built-in hook that allows you to hang it anywhere. We continue to find ways to refine and improve it, like innovative side-zip storage pockets that let you quickly access a travel toothbrush, medicine or cosmetics. Two upper zip pockets help keep travel-size bottles and small toiletries within easy reach and keep spills contained. Main compartment is large enough for full-size shampoo bottles, with multiple soft mesh pockets for easy organization. Includes a removable mirror and shower caddy. Solids are made of water-resistant nylon packcloth, prints of polyester. 10"H x 12"W x 8"D. 1 lb. 6 oz. Imported."

I have the LL bean one in the link, but the medium size. It has held up very well. I estimate I've had it close to ten years.

That's perfect! I'm going to order the family sized one. We have an Alaskan cruise next year so we need it hold tons of stuff for more than a week.

I never thought of LLBean. Thanks guys!:cool1:

I have the same one and we have had ours for about 8 years. It is fantastic! I use it for a family of 5

I've had ours for years, too. Now that the kids are older and pack their own toiletries, I use it as a gym bag. It fits a towel, swimsuit, cap, goggles, clothes, flip-flops, etc., and hangs beautiful in a locker.

I downsized from the family one to the medium Primarily because of TSA. The family one was too big in my checked bag, I could put the medium in the checked bag better. I had a small TSA pouch with toothbrush, contacts, meds and small sunscreen with meds in my purse.
The only thing full size I packed was sunscreen, shampoo and conditioner.

I have that exact bag but in a fun pattern with my family's last name embroidered on it. I got it for free from 31 as a Hostess essential. I absolutely love it! Love that it hangs on the back of the bathroom door when we travel. It keeps everything neat and tidy. And it came with all the refillable bottles + a funnel. I just love it! If you have a rep in the area consider having a party bc they have a few bags that are just great for Disney. I got over $300 worth of products for $120 this past summer. I was so excited!!

If you go under the "Sale" section on LL Bean, they have a medium one marked down to $25. It's blue with palm leaves on it, not the prettiest, but if you are looking so save some $. I purchased a large black one and a duffle bag Monday night, and got a $10 credit to use later, so I got the medium one for when we go camping, and don't need much. I would post a link, but I don't think I have enough post to.

While probably smaller than what you are looking for (maybe holds three full size bottles) the pack-it-flat by ebags is awesome if you put your toiletry kit in your bag last because you can lay it across a packed bag and it fits!
I have one and just bought one for hubby too. I wish it was slightly bigger but ease of packing is worth it.

Thanks! I'm thinking the medium probably isn't big enough though.
